Full Review
Lira is what happens when Italian pastry chefs collaborate with perfumers — it's literally dessert you can wear, but done with niche-level sophistication. The opening blast of blood orange and bergamot gives way to the star of the show: a realistic cannoli accord built from vanilla, cinnamon, and caramel that's so accurate you'll find yourself craving actual Sicilian sweets. This isn't your basic vanilla gourmand though. The inclusion of licorice root and musk in the base prevents it from becoming cloying, adding a subtle herbal complexity that keeps things interesting through the 8-10 hour wear time. Performance is impressive without being obnoxious — expect moderate to strong projection for the first 3-4 hours before it settles into a gorgeous skin scent that lasts well into the next day. The craftsmanship justifies most of the premium price tag, though at $200+ it's definitely a luxury purchase. This is a compliment magnet that works surprisingly well in cooler weather and evening settings. The vanilla-musk dry-down has enough sophistication to transition from day to night, making it more versatile than most gourmands. Just don't expect subtlety — Lira announces itself and makes no apologies.
