Full Review
Florence is for the woman who wants to feel effortlessly elegant without trying too hard. It's the kind of fragrance that makes people lean in closer at coffee meetings and ask what you're wearing. The opening bergamot is bright and sparkling, like morning light on cobblestones, while white tea adds a clean, almost meditative quality that keeps it from being too citrus-forward. The pear adds just enough sweetness to make it approachable, and the white musk dry-down is soft and skin-like.
This sits firmly in floral-fresh territory, but it's more sophisticated than your typical department store offering. The bergamot stays present throughout the wear, which is rare - most citrus notes disappear within the first hour. Here, it weaves through the entire 4-5 hour journey, supported by that lovely white tea accord that gives it an almost spa-like serenity.
The performance is moderate at best - you're looking at about 4 hours of decent projection before it becomes a skin scent. For $68-78, that's disappointing when drugstore options can push similar longevity. The projection stays close, maybe arm's length at peak, making this more of an intimate signature than a room-filler. It's well-blended and pleasant, but you're paying premium prices for mid-range performance.
This shines in spring and summer office settings, lunch dates, and any time you want to smell expensive without being overwhelming. It's refined enough for professional settings but has enough personality for weekend brunches. Just know you'll need to reapply if you want it to last through evening plans.
