Full Review

This is for anyone who wants to smell like they just stepped off Ipanema Beach with a caipirinha in hand and caramel dripping down their fingers. Cheirosa 71 opens with a burst of sea salt that immediately gives way to the star of the show: a rich, almost edible caramel that's been kissed by ocean air. The vanilla and tonka bean in the base create this warm, skin-like sweetness that has serious compliment-getting power.

Performance-wise, this punches above its weight for a fragrance mist. You'll get about 4-5 hours of solid wear with moderate projection for the first two hours, then it settles into a lovely skin scent. The dry-down is where it really shines - pure vanilla caramel comfort that makes you want to keep sniffing your wrists. It's not beast mode by any stretch, but it's respectable for the format.

The reality check: you're paying $38 for what's essentially a fancy body spray. The bottle is gorgeous and the scent is genuinely addictive, but the value proposition is questionable when you compare it to actual fragrances in this price range. That said, if you're already sold on the Sol de Janeiro aesthetic and want something unique in your collection, this delivers on the fantasy.

This works best in warm weather or when you want to feel transported somewhere tropical. It's sweet enough to be dessert-adjacent but has enough salt and complexity to avoid smelling like straight sugar. The unisex appeal is real - plenty of guys have been caught sneaking sprays of this.
