Full Review
Mon Guerlain feels like Guerlain trying to speak to a younger audience while maintaining their heritage DNA. The opening lavender is fresh and herbal, immediately setting this apart from typical gourmand feminines. Jasmine sambac adds white floral elegance in the heart, but it's the vanilla-sandalwood base that does the heavy lifting for longevity and warmth. Performance is solid at 6-8 hours with moderate projection that won't overwhelm your coworkers but still gets noticed. The dry-down is where it shines - creamy, comforting vanilla that feels grown-up rather than dessert-like. However, at $130+ for 100ml, you're paying premium prices for what feels like a well-executed but safe composition. It's beautiful and wearable, but lacks the personality and complexity of L'Heure Bleue or Mitsouko. The bottle design is gorgeous though, and it photographs well for social media if that matters to you. This works best for women who want something distinctly feminine but modern, though the lavender keeps it from being too saccharine. It's the kind of fragrance that gets compliments from mothers-in-law and colleagues alike.
