Full Review

Devotion is what happens when D&G decides to do vanilla the Italian way — rich, warm, but never cloying. This opens with a bright burst of candied lemon that immediately gives way to a heart of creamy vanilla and soft almond blossom. The vanilla here isn't the artificial cupcake variety you'll find in cheaper gourmands; it's smooth, almost custard-like, with a subtle saltiness that keeps things interesting.

The performance is solid without being overwhelming — expect about 7-8 hours of longevity with moderate projection that won't clear rooms but definitely gets noticed within arm's reach. The dry-down settles into a cozy blend of vanilla, light woods, and a whisper of musk that sits close to the skin in the most appealing way.

At around $90-120 for 100ml, it's positioned in that sweet spot where designer meets premium quality. The bottle is gorgeous (classic D&G opulence with the sacred heart motif), and the juice inside actually justifies the packaging. This isn't groundbreaking, but it's a perfectly executed comfort scent that works year-round.

The main criticism? It's almost too safe. While the quality is undeniable, it doesn't push any boundaries or surprise you after the first few wears. It's vanilla done very, very well, but still just vanilla at its core.
