Full Review

Aurum is for those who want to make an entrance without saying a word. This amber-dominant oriental opens with a burst of saffron and rose that immediately signals expensive Middle Eastern perfumery, then settles into a creamy, honeyed heart that radiates warmth and sophistication. The dry-down is where Aurum really shines - a rich blend of oud, amber, and vanilla that stays close to skin but projects beautifully for 8-10 hours. Performance is genuinely impressive here. You're looking at beast-mode projection for the first 3 hours, then it pulls closer but maintains excellent sillage throughout the day. The longevity easily hits 10+ hours on skin, 12+ on clothes. At this price point, that's exceptional value. This isn't a subtle fragrance - it's built for compliments and attention. The oud note is present but not barnyard-aggressive, making it more approachable for Western noses than some traditional Middle Eastern offerings. However, the sweetness can become cloying in hot weather, and the projection means you need to be careful with application. Two sprays maximum unless you want to clear a room. The bottle feels substantial and luxurious, easily competing with fragrances triple the price. While it lacks the refinement of niche houses, the raw materials quality is surprisingly good for the price tier.
